It was a new experience for many of our speech team members at Sutton this weekend! All students were competing at the varsity level. Medalists are Hailey Eastman 8th Informative, Bre’ley Hunnicutt 2nd Informative, Kylon Jurgens 8th Extemp, Phillip Kreutz/Marshall Humphrey 7th Duet, and Sophie Faltys 9th Persuasive. Other honors are Logan McKay 13th Informative and Cooper Reeson/Kylon Jurgens 8th Duet. Great work Hornets!

Yesterday both high school & junior high quiz bowl students headed to Dorchester for the CRC quiz bowl meet! The high school went 1-2 for the day and our JH team climbed out of the losers bracket to place 3rd overall! 🥉🧡Great work Hornets! #HornetHype

Aurora Public Schools is an event on Tuesday evening, February 15th at 5:30pm in the middle school theater. The event will feature nationally known speaker Joshua Wayne. Joshua will discuss strategies for parents to assist all students with stress, anxiety and depression. (See attached flyer)

The Adult Living/Intro to Foods class is being offered through distance learning this year with students from Ashland-Greenwood. Each day, we get together via zoom and go through the lesson just like an in-person class!
This semester we take on the kitchen in the Intro to Foods class with both school cooking. Take a look at what’s been happening in the FCS department! Great job to Ms. Richards & her students!
A huge S/O is also given to Mr. Richards at A-G for facilitating and supervising the class in Ashland.
