Giltner Public School Preschool Enrollment is Now Open!
Please go onto the Giltner Public School website to print off a copy of the enrollment form: https://bit.ly/PKEnroll or contact Heidi at hfarrall@giltnerschool.us or (402) 849-2238 to obtain a copy. Once your form is filled out, please return it to the school as soon as possible. Your enrollment forms will be marked in the order in which they are received. Please note:
To be eligible for the 3 year old morning PK class, students must be 3 on or before July 31.
To be eligible for the 4 year old afternoon PK class, students must be 4 on or before July 31.
If your student is 5 years old on or before July 31, they would be deemed kindergarten age eligible and are no longer able to qualify for preschool.

The 8th grade class zoomed with Cesar Duran from ESU 9 who serves as the MEP State Service Coordinator. The 8th graders finished their Culture and Belonging Unit where they studied several literary texts based on the immigrant and refugee experiences in America. The students had to produce surface and deeper level questions for their zoom with Cesar. Cesar talked about his experiences living in another country and immigrating to the United States. Great job Hornets! What a great experience! #HornetHype

Monday will be the last day for the Penny wars if students still wish to bring money in for the Salvation Army. Winning class gets a pizza party!!!
Candy Cane grams will also extend into Monday now with delivery during lunch on Tuesday if anyone still wishes to purchase one!

New Christmas Program date!! #HornetHype
Giltner Public Schools will operate on an early release schedule today. Students and staff will be dismissed at 1:00 pm today. Lunch will be served and buses will run accordingly. We are canceling all afterschool activities including pm PreK. This is to ensure the safety of our students and staff. More information will come soon on the rescheduling of the Christmas program. Please call the school with any questions or concerns.
